For $35 Million You Can Have a House with Salt Water Aquariums in the Wall

Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara, California is for sale and it has salt water aquariums built right into the wall. And yes, that’s plural – three of them. Right on the ocean, with pool to boot. Over 200 feet of glorious California waterfront and almost four acres of property on a bluff make this home a private oasis with views that don’t stop. And there’s a magical third floor tower for viewing the stars (accessed from a spiral staircase in the master). And it has a Jacuzzi. An ice bucket with a nice little bottle of French champagne, and we can’t imagine a more romantic evening. There’s a work out room, tennis courts, a rose garden, an organic vegetable garden. And inside, this house is 10,000+ sf of pure luxury and style, from the artistic fireplace in the formal living area to the in-wall aquariums. This kind of property, with these unique touches, doesn’t come cheap. But we’ve always said: you get what you pay for.

There are salt water aquariums in the wall, in three places. Quite the house. Between the lovely art installation around the fireplace and these quirky aquariums, we love the place.

What a beautiful house! It looks very similar to many houses that I came across at corcoran.com/florida!

Yeah, beautiful house! And beutiful view, too… it also reminds me of the work by these Melbourne architects I can’t stop looking at those beautiful homes. Better start saving money, so I can afford it one day.
