This bird house, proposed by Dutch company Maandag Meubels, is actually more than just a bird house. The actual bird house is perched on one of the branches of the corten steel tree it comes along with. The rusty look of the corten steel makes the tree structure resemble a real tree in late winter, after having lost all its leaves. The tree has four branches, out of which one is occupied by the wooden hut, another one has a wooden shelf and the two other ones are free for different usages. The hut and shelf are made from timber assembled with visible nails, for a very natural look. The Birdtreehut can be placed anywhere, from a balcony to a terrace or in a garden, the materials it is made of are weather proof. The birds will be happy to have a shelter for the cold winter nights and a private place for breeding in springtime. If you place a bowl with water on the shelf, they will even come and bathe in summer! The product is user friendly: the tree structure can be put together without the use of tools and the hut comes already assembled. A great way for bird lovers to always have them around!
